These energy drinks are also available in decaf for those who need energy revitalization but are on a diet. However, even the decaf contains at least some caffeine. Therefore, if you are on a diet that absolutely refrains you from consuming caffeine, then you should avoid energy drinks and re think your timetable in such a way that you can afford to get some sleep. Besides, there are different flavors of energy drinks as well so that your taste buds are also served well. You can pick between cherry, lemon, lime, berry, orange, pomegranate, and citrus.

Energy drinks are often categorized as a dietary supplement. Therefore, they are not authorized by the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act in place of authorization from FDA. Niacin can also cause many problems encompassing skin irritation, dizziness, and a complete black out for some time.

Short term alternatives are good for only a short period of time. Having energy drinks may not be a problem. Having energy drinks regularly or more than once in twenty four hours can create problems, many of which can also be beyond repair.
